Before I go, I'll just post the other version of my Crummock Water tree, with added contrast: ![]() And... the orangest lamb I have ever seen ( ):![]() And its mum: ![]() Oh, and I added some more saturation into this Crummock Water image, to give it a little brightness and colour: ![]() Here's a nice non-Leish Crummock Water image: Crummock Water, Cumbria Last edited by Leisha; 13th May 2008 at 01:33 AM. |

They're both breathtaking, and even more so from the top of the fell. ![]() If you have any more pictures like these, Py, no one minds you posting them... ![]() (But I will log off and lurk, not post, since I'm officially "editing" right now.) I love Buttermere best (the very bottom lake). |

| resident pedantissimo | Re: picture of the day! Last time I was in the Lake District (distressingly long ago, admittedly) I noticed they put coloured splodges on the sheep's backs, presumably so they could find them again in the snow. Perhaps with that lamb they didn't follow the washing instructions, and the colour ran? You know, was as wool? |

I recommend a macro lens. Of course, the lumpy bits help; difficult to build clover leaves on, and you can hide a lot of junk behind a mountain. (or dump it in a lake) | |

| 'what to eat' fan | Re: picture of the day! I think i'll use rose-tinted contact lenses. Do the Swiss hide junk behind a mountain? I love lakes. Especially fossil ones. Lake Messel,Lake Gosiute,Green River. i SHOULD HAVE BEEN A PALEOLIMNOLOGIST!!! but that's another thread,i just realized. Is Lake Geneva meromictic, panmictic? I know there are turbidites. I'm in rambling mode again,I fear ++- |

| Direwolf of the chrons | Re: picture of the day! I like the reedit leisha! And that is a orange lamb -- And somehow that new edit of the last makes me feel less inclined to keep rotating it ![]() Nice shot Pyan! Really high up! and I started looking through some old shots and found one or two shining shots that I had totally forgotten to edit! As well as that are some interesting shots that are not quite up to standard (my standards) but which with a resize and unsharpen become passable shots: ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| www.sjswebdesign.co.uk | Re: picture of the day! I wasn't sure about logging in, since I have editing to do, but then I saw these. I like the top image, and the squirrel, and the eagle. Out of the otters, the top one's my favourite (the rest need cropping, I think). And it's odd that you think that image doesn't need rotating now - all I did was increase the saturation. I couldn't be bothered to rotate and crop. ![]() And tonight I've been getting some of my photos together. I thought it'd be nice to have them all in one place, so I tried out an online photo album.
