yeah, but JK Rowling also said she's finished writing it: "I have in fact had all the time I needed to tinker with the manuscript to my satisfaction and I am as happy as I have ever been with the end result."

So why is it going to take another 6 months to publish - are they really that slow?

Woohoo, we have a release date!!! :rolly2:

Where'd you hear it from, btw? Cos this is the first I've heard of it.

--- EDIT ---

Never mind. Should have read the other thread first, I didn't realise the Room of Requirement was open again.

And I agree that 7 months is a long time to wait, if she's finished the book. I guess they just want to keep all the release dates around the same time of year?

oooh i didn't see the room of requirement either - i saw it in the newspaper - it's big news

I hope that's not the reason they're making us wait so long, cos it seems kinda ridiculous!

I never watch the news. Or read newspapers. It's amazing that I know what day of the week it is, really...

And it is ridiculous. Maybe JK shouldn't have said that she's finished it already, now it just seems like a really long time to wait, for no particular reason.
