Hello, fellow Buffsters.
I come to you from the IMDb Buffy the Vampire Slayer Message Boards. What's currently going on right now, is that we Buffsters (or Buffy fanatics) are forming a Buffy Revolution. We want to spread the fulfilling knowledge of Buffy to everyone, even non-fanatics. We want an uprising. First off, hi! And welcome to the Buffy forum.

I have tried converting my friends (after all, it would be nice if people got my references once in a while

). But most people already have a fixed idea of what Buffy is about - girl kicking vampire arse, basically. And my friends think I only watch it for the cute guys.

They don't get that the show is any deeper than that. I guess Buffy just doesn't appeal to everyone. *shrug*

Anyway, I shall keep on persevering. I've semi-converted my mum, so that's a start.

I was the first one in my family to get hooked onto the show. I'm semi-converted my mom too! She's not like me, wheras she has to catch both Buffy and Angel everyday, but she definately is interested in the show. She's more a Nip/Tuck person (although I am one of those too).

The thing about this Buffy Revolution is, that we can change people's minds about it. Maybe recommend the best episodes and get them to give it a chance. Do you wanna try this thing?

Yeah me too, I've tried loads of times to convert my friends to Buffy. I've managed to get my manager to watch Buffy, and now he's a mega huge fan. And my best friend absolutely loves Angel.

Oh! Best Episode is Doppelgangland without question.

Well, looks like we have more members! Have you all clicked on those links that I posted at first? The first link explains it all on how we are going to go about this. Please check it out. However, I'll post the short version here.

Basically, starting with me and the other Buffsters back at the [color=Royal Blue]IMDb Buffy the Vampire Slayer Boards[/color] (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118276/board/threads/) have decided to go to various Buffy boards and spread this idea of the Buffalution to other fans to get a group going. That's the first step in this process, so we'll start with that and wait until we achieve the first goal. That's how I ended up telling this board about it.

I'm a big Buffy fan too...my son's fault really..got hooked with the Buffy/Angel thing..you know, good, bad, Perfect happiness etc.
and I havn't looked back since.

Still watch the repeats..
Hush is still one of my favourites..

AND THEY STILL KEEP CUTTING IT

My hubby is semi-converted (watches when in the mood)

Alright, Steffi, you are now a member. It's as simple as that. Alright people, I have an idea. In order to get more organized with this, I was thinking that it would be a cool idea if everyone picks a Buffster membership name. The user name has to contain something (a word, phrase, character, etc.) that relates to Buffy and/or Angel. For example, my user name at these boards is SpikezGirl420 as it also is on the IMDb boards. That may be my name, but I'm gonna think about the perfect Buffy name for me for awhile. So, everyone think about a Buffster name and post!
We're just getting started. We'll take this one small step at a time.
