Stargate Returns September 1 - Science Fiction Fantasy Chronicles: forums

According to Ebroadcast.com Stargate SG-1 will be returning to our screens on Wednesday 1st September.

Seven will be airing two episodes a week, one on Wednesday, one on Thursday.

Sydney viewers will show Season 7 Ep 9 and 10 the first week and go from there.

Brisbane viewers will show Season 7 Ep 9 and 10 the first week and go from there.

Perth viewers will show Season 7 Ep 9 ( its a repeat ) and then new ep 10 and go from there. Its done like that so Perth doesnt stay ahead.

Adelaide viewers will show Season 6 Ep 22 and then Season 7 Ep 1. Adelaide viewers will remain behind but thats better than missing eps. There are no plans to catch up.

Melbourne viewers will see Season 6 Ep 6 and 7. That means they are a full season behind the rest of Australia but there are plans later on to catch up a little at least.

hmmm.... wednesdays are my pubnights, but still better than the previous saturday night timelsot.

Anyone upto date with series 8 and atlantis? ive been taking full advantage of torrents (the way of the future) and an adsl connectiion, so i usually get to watch both on sunday.

yeah its been good, has anyone else noticed how little jack's been involved in the eps? I might be wrong but i dont think he's been through the gate yet?

Finally Stargate is back on in Brisbane....took them long enough. Just watched Evolution pt 1 & 2...very good and I love the double eps even though it seems like channel 7 is just rushing through them. The 10.30 time slot is a bit extreme.

Season 8 and Atlantis have been great but I have noticed that Jack gets little time on screen...except for Zero Hour...that was hilarious. I love MacKay in Atlantis...finally somewhere he fits in.

Atlantis is amazing. Tori Higginson and the cast are amazing.

With SG-1 im craving, craving some off world exploration missions where the whole team is involved. Also missing the Tok'ra as well.

I think Sacrifices was probably the best episode this season - it would have been great to stick with the "my big fat jaffa wedding" as the titile - so many moments reminded me of the my big fat greek wedding lol.

btw stargate isn't on in TAS, we are upto 701 Fallen.
although from people i talk to - sg1 and atlantis is gettin around the state on VCD.
