It's odd that Stargate's 8.03 episode Lockdown was shown
the same week as Atlantis's 1.03: Hide and Seek.

Two dark clouds in one night?

That didn't prevent me from enjoying the episode, however.

We got to see a little more of the city.

I wonder if Dr. McKay will ever get his personal shield recharged.

It's nice how it allowed him to be heroic with out compromising his character.

Hmm . . will his DNA manipulation last?

I'm looking forward to next week's episode . . I won't even spoil
the commercial for you if you haven't seen it.

It looks like it could be funny.

It was a cool episode. And it was funny to see Dr. Mckay, and how at the end he have to let go of his fears and get the entity go into the stargate.

I agree, it was cool to see more about the city and the hide rook where the creature was originally was pretty cool.

Also it was interesting to see the progress in the relationship between the humans and the athosians people in the city. It was a very good touch when Weir light the candle the same way the athosians did although she say it was because it would become very dark.

A mysterious alien entity is unleashed in Atlantis and threatens to drain the city's energy supply. Meanwhile, McKay is in a predicament of his own after undergoing gene therapy, allowing him to use Ancient technology.

edit: Just watched this and like it.

"It's an transporter!"

"We can name it later!"

That's a continuation of the joke from last week.

Lots of chuckles from this one.

Especially the testing of the shield.

"I shot him....In the leg of course!!"

And the way the shield fell off McKay when it came to facing the creature!!

"I had a hunch" says Dr Wier, lol didnt we all hehe.
