THE SHIP: The Holland America ms Zuiderdam, brand new (commissioned 2002) state of the art luxury cruise liner is named for the south position of the compass. The Vista Lounge

Because the Zuiderdam is so new and in demand, its cabins sell out rapidly, so we are accepting deposits ($400 per person - non-refundable - based upon double occupancy) with payment in full due 9 months out (August 10, 2004). At that time all fees will be non-refundable except with cancellation protection insurance as indicated below. We cannot guarantee availability or rates beyond that point but expect the remaining cabins pricing will go up. Therefore to insure your participation and lock in this lowest rate you should put in your deposit now! We know you will experience a week of Star Trek, Xena and Stargate SG-1 heaven - in the Caribbean - on our adventure: the Official Creation Salute to Star Trek, Stargate SG-1 and Xena Cruise!

On August 10, 2004, our remaining block of cabins is released back to Holland America...but if you still want to attend we will try to set up a new block at that time to accommodate people who couldn't book earlier. We are told that the new block, IF available, will average at least $125-150 more per cabin category, so book your cruise now!

Golf Simulator

Air Ticketing to/from Ft. Lauderdale: our cruise broker, Luxury Cruise Center, will arrange special air rates and ground transfers as needed to/ from the Ft. Lauderdale Airport and Port of Ft. Lauderdale directly through Holland America. Call one of their dedicated booking agents, at (866) 456 1263. They will automatically call you to advise you of your air costs/ confirmations as well as any other trip options after receipt of your deposit or payment. We recommend you schedule at least 4 hours both at the beginning and end of your cruise to allow for transfers, customs clearance, baggage processing and airport security. There are several important reasons why you should book your air through our broker/Holland America, including changes in flight times/arrivals that might affect your connecting to the ship (Holland America will see that you get to the ship as long as you've booked through our Cruise Broker).

HOST HOTEL FOR NIGHT PRIOR TO THE CRUISE:

The Embassy Suites Hotel Fort Lauderdale (1100 SE 17th Street) was selected for its excellent decor, reputation as the top pre-cruise hotel in the area, and accessibility to the ship and the ease in which we will all be able to get there. $149 is the special rate for singles and doubles. There will be a group transfer to the port at a nominal charge. There will also be a pre-cruise mixer at the hotel featuring guests on Friday Night 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm that is a complimentary event for all those going on the cruise.

CABIN TYPES: We have a flexible range of accommodations to suit every budget/need. Prices quoted are per person based on double occupancy. If you are single without a travel companion we will do our best to pair you up with another person of your sex (non smokers only please) but we much prefer that you book in blocks of two people. Or you may reserve your own cabin for an additional 100% surcharge. Travelling with an infant? Please ask for an Infant Request Form (nominal fees are involved) when making your initial deposit.

DINING RESERVATIONS AND PARTIES: Creation attendees may dine alone or with our group (each night at 8:15 pm). Breakfast and lunch are open seating throughout the ship. After receiving your deposit, our Cruise Broker will contact you to coordinate and process your meal requests (including requests for certain restaurants requiring an additional cover charge).
