In series 6, they main "bad guy" was Gideon (an Elder!), who maybe believed that what he was doing was for the best so maybe he's not evil in the most traditional sense of the word

And they kept using Barbas, whom i don't think was used well at all. In previous seasons, the Demon of Fear thing was well effective and he felt like an actually threat. He tended to attack the sisters on the basis of them being human not just witches and got really close to defeating them. But now he's mainly just another demon who wants to kill the charmed ones and take over the underworld and oh BTW i can sense your fears. (Okay i accept in the very last episode, he was returning more to form) but he didn't get vanquished or dealt with in any sense. So i hope they aren't planning as using him as the "big bad" in series 7.

I think someone knew would be a good idea. Maybe they can get a new source? Whoever it is, i also hope they do a better job of using them the whole series through and tying all the random little demons back to the main guy. The last time they really did that was with the Triad (and Cole). And it worked really well.

Reading back on this, what do we think?

I think this series did much better. For most of it, the threat was a little cloudy (although i suppose in our hearts we always knew the Avatars were not good) but that was still interesting to watch, esp with Leo on their side!

And Zankou - he's just fun

And did a much better job of really getting under their skins and was not easy to kill. So all round a good 'bad guy'.

Any other thoughts?
