Is anyone still writing?

Do we still want this clan?

Anyway -- I'm still working on a few things... I did post a 14 part fic on my site -- called "Tara Bad" --

that's about it...

I've been writing, or attempting to write, I should say. I came up with an idea for an Angel fic, a Lorne fic to be more specific. I've got the idea and nothing else. I was thinking that I could make it a PWP, but I don't even have enough for that. Maybe I should stop trying to come up with something. Usually when I stop thinking about an idea so much, that's when I come up with something.

You may be interested to know that a Virtual Series for Angel is in planning stages. Don't know if you'd be interested in participating or just 'viewing' (read: reading) -- but, it's in the 'organizational' stages and I can drop tidbits if you're interested...

there's an LJ for it -- ats_nolimits

I'd get a link, but my connection is being all funky and I can post this before I ever even see the page...

I probably wouldn't want to write for it, but I'd definitely like to read it. I'll have to take a look. Thanks for the info.

I've been writing. Lots and lots and lots of writing. Non-stop writing in fact. The sad part it's only two fics.

*sighs* The muses are fickle beasts...they make you write obsessively on like one or two things for ages then suddenly you can't think of a single thing to do with the fic and it's left sitting in the folder while other fics get the obsessive attention.

And my other problem is I keep trying to write angst and the humor just keeps slipping it's self in there! One second it's enough angst to make you wanna drink poison then suddenly it turns funny. And I'm trying to angst here! *thwaps humor that won't stay away*

Dru - that's probably b/c you may be trying to make it *too* angsty -- let it lighten up a bit --

and just b/c a little humor pops in, doesn't mean all the angst is gone -- every now and then - something has to be funny ---

It's a rough gig - but if the whole story is angst and nothing else shows up at all, chances are, the readers won't like it much -

Well I WAS planing on a happy ending.

Like The character (Pietro in this fic) gets tortured and is miserable for 90% of the fic then he gets the comfort. Hmm the readers have liked what I've written so far which is a good sign I guess.

Luckily it's still really angsty even with the insane humor popping up in places.

so - see - the humor isn't always bad ---

Most of my fics are pretty angst-ridden too -- but there's some other stuff that jumps in - it has to -- or you, the writer, will fall into an abysmal pit of dispair --- gotta have some happy stuff too -

Okay, I don't have anything to say about writing, but I just noticed the quote from Kate and Leopold in your sig line, H2. That rules!! I love Hugh Jackman and that movie, too. That's one of my favorite lines from it. Good choice. You put that in there just for me, didn't you?

LOL!!

Will you be disappointed if I say 'no'??

Put it in there b/c it kinda refers to the company for which I 'sort of' used to work -- long story short - worked for GE until the division I worked for was 'broken off' to become it's own company - so, I just thought it was bloody funny --- plus - it's a toaster! I wanted to put the whole quote about the toaster in there - but it would make my sig too long...

You can have the first part ---

"Well, insertion of bread into that so-called toaster produces no toast at all, merely warm bread. Two insertions produces charcoal. So, clearly, to make proper toast, it requires one-and-a-half insertions, which is something for which the apparatus does not begin to allow."

the rest is my sig line...

writing - um - I wrote 2 pages yesterday -- does that count? well, yeah ---
