Third ship of the name and currently fighting on the front lines of the Second Dominion War, at the Badlands Corridor. Using Tartarus Battlestation as an anchor point, the entire Ares battlegroup patrols and fends off attacks and forays into their territory by the new Dominion Alliance.

Since 2383, the Federation has been at war, fighting a losing battle against a mysterious enemy who's chroniton-based technology and willingness to use subspace weapons make them a deadly foe. Every day has now become a grueling struggle to maintain the border and prevent the Dominion from gaining access to the Bajoran Wormhole.

Spartan C is the most recent refit of the Ares 2 spaceframe, replacing crew quarters, science labs and pleasurable pursuits with support systems, redundancies and weapon's platforms. Bulkheads remain exposed where the plating was used to replicate a critical part or module. Replicators that once graced each crew member's quarters have been removed and cannibalized, leaving gaping holes where they had once been. Blast marks from fires have never been removed, carpets lost replaced with deck grating, primary lighting supplanted with emergency pods. Its a difficult mission, a horrible war and every day is a challenge far beyond what Starfleet typically expects of their people.

Due to the graphic nature and adult themes of our sim we can only invite those writers who are 17+ years old. This sim is considered rated "R".

Tartarus Battlestation:
Chiefs of Operations, Engineering, Science, Sec/Tac, Intel, Diplomatic Corps, Assistant Medical, JAG. On station we also have a need for business owneers and workers, including but not limited to clubs, bars, restaurants, pleasure-givers and school teachers.

We're looking for decent writers interested in good alchemy and writing, engaging in creativity and a good time. We're very laid back, but sticklers about writing quality. Give us a "look-over" and see if we interest you. Oh and the best part, no fleet academy to go through!
