FYI - when you go to the site www.shutterfly.com (Username "HeyLynny@hotmail.com" or "HeyLynny" and password "jedi"), I noticed that only 3 albums come up. If you click on "View my albums", there are more albums in there from the convention. This is the first time I'm using this photo site so I'm still getting used to how it works.

I posted this on another thread, but I wanted to post it here too. I got my 8x10 pics in the mail today from the convention from the photo ops. You can view them at www.shutterfly.com (username "HeyLynny@hotmail.com" or "HeyLynny" and password is "jedi"). I'm the one with the light purple shirt on who is sitting VERY close to Shanks! (Yum!)

I am so stoked! One of the Cons is gonna be in NY and we're moving there in June! Actually, we're moving to Staten Island, but pretty darn close! You'd better believe I'm gonna be there! Now, I just gotta come up with the $350/tix!

Hey Jules. Best of luck and wishes of a non-stressful move. The New York one is actually "New York Area"... It's in Jersey. But still, close enough. Good luck with the fundraising and have fun! I'm excited to see how many cities have been added to the list of Stargate conventions. Definitely need a name/topic change or a new topic... several cities including one in the Vancouver area! It's gonna be a good year. :rolly2: | |

Thanks philo! We've already begun our moving plans - should be pretty stress-free since the military is going to be doing 90% of the work. Going to buy our CreationCon tixs with our nice tax return! I read on Amanda Tapping's website that she is not going tobe attending any of the Cons this year - has this changed?

I don't believe this has changed due to the pregnancy. However, who knows about the last con or two. I doubt it, but hey... hopeful fan here. Either way, I hope Amanda, Alan, and the baby are all healthy and happy. I'm so excited for her! ![]() The first of many (not just 3 this year) cons begins this weekend! Erm... today!!! (If I'm not mistaken...) :rolly2: Anyone there right now?

Creation Dallas and Vancouver Hi Everyone, I went to the Dallas con and am going to the Vancouver con this next weekend. I did the gold ticket at Dallas but am doing general for Van. I just can't afford it but figured since I'm so close I have to go. I'll have pics of the Dallas con on my site soon and then I have to do the cruise I went on after that then I'll do the van. con. I'm gonna be a busy chick. I got my pic with Chris at Dallas and it turned out great so I'll have him sign it this time. I was supposed to do a pic with Peter but got there too late as they did his pic earlier than I thought and I scheduled my flight for later in the day. But it worked out ok as I'll get one with Peter this time. My pic with Chris is really nice, I'm sitting on his lap and he's got this great smile, it's perfect. The Dallas con was fun but not really that full, I'd say they never got more than 400 people there in any one day and that was Sunday for Chris and Mike. Friday was really small for Peter and Teryl, I felt bad for them, but it was cool because it was more intimate. We just raised our hands and shouted out questions and we got to kid around alot and they weren't really pushed for time. The Cabaret was pretty fun. Don's poetry and readings were great. He's really a funny guy and a great storyteller. Teryl was amazing in her renditions of scenes from musicals. She sings well, dances great and has the enthusiasm of a true Broadway actor. Plus she's amazing with the fans and brings them up on stage and has them do stuff with her. She's hysterical and down to earth, you feel so comfortable around her you can't help but love her. Peter was great too. He did some a capella songs and if we knew the words we sang along. Then at the end he has music to the Bob Marley song, Get Up Stand Up. Well, a bunch of us knew that one and I got up to dance and so did another girl so we sang along and danced, it was great. The dessert party was fun too, we had Don, Teryl and Peter there and Peter did some DJing for the last hour. He was wonderful and played lots of great music to dance to and we did lots of dancing. The Sunday breakfast was fun, we had Mike, Chris and Peter showed for a bit at the end. Chris started a food fight and Mike sat at our table for a long time and then I put ice down Chris's pants so you could say we had some great fun. I won't be getting to do as much at this next con cause I can't go to the dessert party or breakfast, but I'm sure I'll find plenty of other fun. For anyone else who's going, look me up, we can get a drink in the bar or something. To see what I look like go to: http:kimsadventures.com I have shoulder length lightish red hair with blond highlights most of the time but that does change to just plain red depending on how I feel. Well, I'll try to post again when I've got pics up. Later, Kim

Hey Kim, I read somebody elses report form Dallas and they mentioned the food fight. Maybe thats why they have Chris and Michael on different days. Those boys are so bad!!!!!!!!! They aren't even having a breakfast which is probably because of the set visits going on Saturday morning. But there is the cabaret and the dessert party. I am hoping you got my email which includes my phone number if not drop me a line. So are we roomies or not? Let me know even if its the very last second I don't care. I am leaving Portland around 0500 which will put me in Seattle around 0800. That may be a bit dicey depending on traffic. I just hope it doesn't rain!! I hate driving in the rain. Once I get past Seattle its smooth sailing and only about 120 miles or so to the border. I have never been to BC so is there a place I exchange my cash before I cross the border? Whoooohoooo only 4 day :-) Cathy
