A gifted pilot althought a bit of a maverik, this Southern gentleman is a closet mathematical genius. Sheppard is described as having a wry sense of humour with gold ole' boy charm and and likes to pretend to be dumber than he really is. He is a bold fighter, a man of great common sense morality and ossesses the rare gene which allows him to interact physically with Ancients technology.

Seems to have a Jack O'Neill's humor and markmanship, and Daniel Jackson's humor. Appears to be a great choice for the team. My only hope is that he's decidated to show, by means of understanding the burden it might be if he had to reneogiate his contract three years from now when the series takes off. I think he's good! I look forward to watching more of it!

I agree with Garron. I hope he realizes what he's gotten himself into.

Hopefully when negotiation time comes around, he'll stay for the long haul... :/
