| Star Wars Dvd Mania!!! SOUND & VISION’S OCTOBER ISSUE FEATURES AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH STAR WARS DIRECTOR GEORGE LUCAS CONDUCTED BY CARRIE FISHER -- Issue Hits Nationwide Newsstands on September 14, 2004 -- As Star Wars fever escalates with the upcoming DVD release of the Star Wars Trilogy, Sound & Vision’s October issue provides an exclusive interview with legendary Star Wars Director George Lucas conducted by his favorite princess Carrie Fisher. Lucas reveals his thoughts about digital projection, movie theaters, home theater systems and piracy. The interview is a personal exchange between the normally private Lucas and Fisher, who have been close friends since working together on the first Star Wars feature, and this marks the first time she has interviewed him for a magazine. The article is filled with her irreverent personality, drawing out a side of Lucas that fans rarely see. |

| Re: Star Wars Dvd Mania!!! Heh, needs rewriting: SOUND & VISION’S OCTOBER ISSUE FEATURES AN EXCLUSIVE MARKETING OPPORTUNITY BY GEORGE LUCAS, TO BLOW OFF ORIGNIAL FANS, AND IMMERSE HIMSELF IN HIS COMPLETELY SELF-INDULGENT INFERIOR NEW RELEASES -- Issue Hits Nationwide Newsstands on September 14, 2004 -- As Star Wars fans wonder why on earth the classics they grew up with as kids are not released, Lucas continues to roll over them in this properly edited intervie, where he is allowed( by the continuing sycophancy surrounding himself) to indulge in mocking the people who grew up with Star War. Includes general marketing and hype comments on about the effects of his new "improved" versions of the films, and general pointless personal waffle regarding his electronics and his compeltely naive and self-interested view on piracy. This marks the first time Carrie Fisher has interviewed Lucas for a magazine. The article is filled with her irrelevent personality, drawing out a marketing side of Lucas that fans are only too used to seeing. OMG - I'm so bitter. ![]() |
