Airs January 14th

(from the WB) Lex teams up with three krypto-villians to lure Clark to the hospital to enlist his help in escaping after he hears that Lionel has requested Lex be given electroshock therapy to erase his memory. However, the plan goes awry when the villains double-cross Lex and use kryptonite to steal Clark's powers. Meanwhile, Lana meets a mysterious new stranger in the hospital.

A new guy for Lana!! Will he be like the rest and try to kill her or will he enable her to move on from Clark?

Hmm, this was one of those 'blah' episodes - generally good, but you forget about it as soon as it's finished.

It was nice to see some of the 'meteor freaks' make a reappearance, even though it did take me half the episode to remember who each of them was. But it seemed like that story-line was pushed into the background by the Clark/Lana stuff, which was a shame. Even Lex didn't seem to get much of a look-in.

Not sure about Lana's new friend. He seems nice enough, but what's betting he turns out to be a psycho who started the fire that killed his parents? Though it would be good for her to get a new love interest - all the angst between her and Clark is getting a little too cloying for my liking.
