Update The entire "Trash" script is now available at www.fireflyfans.net Personally I think I am going to wait for the episode to air, rather than totally spoil it for myself.

I like this one too - always a fan of the recurring character kind of episode. Bit of a twist at the end with Anara tho and wot about Mal at the end wandering around quite unashamedly naked - I like a man with the confidence to do that !!!!

1.12(?) Trash I saw Mal's butt. I saw Mal's butt. Okay, I'm not gay, but I figured that would make Tab and a few others really jealous. I just saw "Trash". Another great episode. And another great Joss Whedon character emerges. It doesn't have the nuance and character development of an "Objects in Space" or "Out of Gas", but it is a throughly enjoyable caper and it keeps you guessing until the end. And speaking of ends, there's a lot Mal's butt in this one.

This was truly a fun episode. Really laughed through it. Held my interest from the opening scene (was wondering what could get Mal naked in the middle of the desert) I wonder just how many names Saffron has and what her real name is. ![]() It kept me amused throughout the episode.

I didn't ever expect to see Mrs Reynolds/Yolanda/Brigitte again. This was a good episode, although 'Jaynestown' has the edge. I couldn't help wondering "why are they trusting this woman again" but ultimately, they didn't, and it all worked out in the end. I'm also impressed how despite all the goings on in this series they haven't yet lost or mislaid a single shuttle. There is another series that has a particularly bad record on that account ![]() Security is a bit limp. Both the guards in this and the guards in 'Ariel' are completely ineffectual. Wouldn't there be War Veterans working as security? Or were the Alliance troops really rubbish, and only won because of superior technology? Or are all the Vets working for Niska and Badger and other criminal gangs?
