Fairly typical plot for an early-season episode, exploring another loop-hole in fate and closing it off as not to be done again..

Still the sub-plot of George's workplace was fun!

Got round to watching this last night. Found it funny as usual.

George obviously doing her best to be clever and 'save' another soul. Only for it to backfire. Ewwwwwww with the bodytone things. With so many people losing their lives with it does that mean where George lives are soooooooooo many overweight peeps. LOL

Whats with the woman in the office and slobbering over Georges supervisors phone? Is it a hate thing????? Or the fact that one just loves cleanliness. LOL

Herbig (what a great name!) must have annoyed the receptionist at some point, as the receptionist started on George after seeing her as Herbig's ally. But George got her revenge with the dog-poo, and then waved the white flag - very smart!!

I'm wondering about the actress who plays the alternate George, the one seen by the living. She has a small-ish part, yet a crucial one in that if she decides to leave the show, they'll lose the ability to show George in that form. Hope they have her on a good retainer!!

I don't see the deaths as George's fault, if there was a problem with the Absolvers and a product recall was necessary, the decision shpuldn't have been left down to a single man. If it was then there were some serious problems within that company, and the deaths were always going to occur anyway.

We know the deaths were unforseen, because the notifications were sent out late, on the otherhand, when there is any disaster, do you think that they still get notifications of all the deaths in advance? And wouldn't there still be the problem of lack of space?

Anyway, if George did feel responsible for the deaths, it didn't take her long to get over it.

I assumed that they were not prepared for that many deaths because the death of the boss guy would have prevented them all, but George's interference changed events with very little warning. For a natural disaster etc they would presumably get more warning, and have more reapers on the case (assuming that there are a lot more of them outside of our little group, eg the guy who took George's soul before the toilet seat hit her...), and presumably this would allow them to sort out space for all the recently dead to wait...
