He never was. They never actually managed to put Gambit in any of the films.

Re: X-Men 3

I'm told that there was a scene in the first or second one, in which a computer screen was shown on-screen, showing a series of files with the names of various X-Men who were known major characters from the comics but didn't otherwise appear in the movie. One of them was Gambit, labelled with his "real" non-X name and not in uniform or looking different in any other way, so only informed comic-book fans would have caught it. I'm also told that another picture in that scene was labelled "Hank McCoy", although that person was not blue or furry (and wasn't Kelsey Grammar).

That's right, Delvo. I remember reading that in a magazine, and the next time I watched the second movie, there it was. (Gambit's real name was Remy LeBeau, or something like that. It stuck in my mind for some reason.)

Re: X-Men 3

In X2, I think, there's actually a man on a TV interview named as Dr. Hank McCoy - also not Kelsey - who, could be pre-fuzzy Beast.

Ah, I didn't spot that. I'll have to keep my eyes open the next time it's on.

Re: X-Men 3

I agree with how they handled the phoenix. I mean. Think about it. If a person has uncontrolled powers and they got a little angry a lot would happen. Not just that but keeping that person from their full powers would cause some kind of affect. In Jean’s case, it was the creation of an alternate personality.

Re: X-Men 3

Popped my DVD in the other day of X3 and still love this movie. My friend hates it, but this movie is cool in my opinion.

Yep., me too, i never really understood why this one faces so much critisism. an Action Packed movie with a pretty emotional ending IMO. Great fun.
