Season 1 Marathon

Hey Everybody,

On the 23rd of August, TV1 on Foxtel and Optus is having a Season 1 Stargate SG-1 Marathon.

Time to stock up on junkfood and settle into the couch for a fun day of Stargate.

Man, this marathon is so cool. I've managed to catch wuite a few eps today. It's almost finished though We're up to Serpent's Grasp.

Damn it was good seeing all my old favourite though. Bloodlines, TBFTGOG, Solitudes. You just can't beat the classics.

i can't believe you caught the whole 18 hours. that would have required me to drag my ass out of bed at 6am, which was just not gonna happen.

Glad to hear you guys had fun :-) Alas, I do not have cable so I wasn't able to watch.... oh well, I have the Season 1 Box Set not to mention the vids I received from my sis and from my best friend in Scotland..so if I feel like catching up on the classics, I can always watch them ... and believe me, they served me well while we were waiting for Sg-1 to return. Long live Stargate, I say :-)

Allan had more EXCITING things to do rather than watch stargate :rolly2: :rolly2: :rolly2: :rolly2: :rolly2:

As for me, I don't have pay TV so I just did the next best thing and spent the day in the kitchen cooking with a lot of chocolate and watching stargate DVDs on the notebook on the kitchen bench.

Fudge, rocky road, puff pastry things with chocolate inside, palmiers dipped in chocolate

and this week I'm making 8 trays of chocolate brownies with a very wicked chocolate/sour cream frosting

****sounds of Homer drooling****

Hey everyone,

Yep, I know all about dedication... I once got out of bed at 5:30am to program my VCR to come on while I was at work - the early ep of ER featuring Alexis (my fave) was on and I just couldn't miss it. Thankfully, it worked that time :-)

Sounds like fun, Deb! But wouldn't melted chocolate on the keyboard keys be a bit of a problem? And I know from experience melted butter doesn't do wonders to a laptop. The horror, the horror...

By the way, all of you guys and girls with pay TV? I hate you.
