Okay, I'm starting up this website for original character and alien fan fiction. Is anyone interested in helping out?

Could do with writers, artists and anyone who wants to build a website.

I write sw fan fiction, using my own characters, mostly and I just got fed up of constantly being ignored in favour of stories about characters like Obi Wan and decided to make up a website for them and like minded writers.

I don't have many at the moment which are complete. The website I want to set up is to promote more creativeity in fan fiction and other less popular cannon characters such as Kit Fisto, Jabba the Hutt, Poggle the Lesser, Boba Fett, Watto and any others you can think of will be accepted as long as they are the main characters in the story. I just get fed up of all the ones about Obi Wan etc. because there seems to be this obession which those characters and some of the stories they write I've got to admit are freaky! I don't have a problem with those characters in general and I'm sorry if I've upset anyone with my comments. It's just the way I feel about it. I mean I love those characters cos Star Wars wouldn't be Star Wars without them but I just get bored with them, I mean I read about them in the offical novels so I just want a change when it comes to fan fiction and the whole point in writing your own stories is that you create the chracters yourself and one of my favourties is having an ailen as the main character. If you read my story, Starchaser, you'll see what I mean. I'll post a link to the OCA thread in the force.net borads and one to my story which is posted here. It's become sadly neglected of late, however...

I like your idea !
I love Kit Fisto, Aayla Secura, Quinlan Vos, Bariss Offee, Shaak Ti, Luminara Unduli, ... but we don't get to see them much ...

I know exactly what you mean. We don't. Take Warro, Chewie's son, they could have develolped him into a very interesting character, but instead, he is relagated to the occasional clan gatherings...

Guess we're gonna have to do it for them...

I also like creating my own characters too and one of my favourtie species are Shistavanen Wolfmen. Just love the furry criters and I like using alien characters because I think that they are so fascinating and the varitey of alien cultures and species is one of the things I love about Star Wars, plus the fact that for the most part they concentrate on life experiences and not on some obscure physics phenoemon like Star Trek, which no body really understands anyway, unless you happen to be Stephen Hawkings!

The aliens tend to all be different too.

I notice from your profile that you like Stargate as well. Stargate is my favourtie sci fi tv show!

I really love mythology and science fiction and that series combines it very good !
