Aussie Lord of the Rings Convention

September 20,21
Rydges Lakeside Hotel
Canberra Australia

Guests include:

- Brad Dourif (Grima Wormtongue) ***NEW GUEST!!***
- Bruce hopkins (Gamling)
- Craig Parker (Haldir)
- Sarah McLeod (Rosie)
(+more guests to come - yes we are talking to more LOTR actors even now!!)

We are running two one day conventions, Cocktails on the Friday night prior to the event, a Banquet on Saturday night, and a Wrap Party on Sunday night. The evening events have strictly limited bookings to keep them intimate (so everyone gets a chance to talk to every guest for as long as they want).

The will be opportunities to have photos taken with the guests by the official photographer, autographs, charity auctions and of course the guest presentations on each day are the highlight of the event.

Contact Adele at alc@bobw.com.au to discuss ticket pricing and bookings, or just to have your name added to our email distribution list. Details are gradually being added to the website: www.bobw.com.au

Tickets start at Aus$135 per day. Accomodation discounts are also available at the Rydges if you book through BOBW (eg: two people sharing a twin room will pay Aus$60 per night each). We can arrange shares if you'd like to split the cost of a room but don't know anyone.

If you have never been to a "convention" before and want to know what goes on, check out the photos from the last several BOBW events at: www.castlesoftware.com.au/peter . If you are in Melbourne, come along to the Astor cinema to see The Two Towers on 6th/7th June and talk to BOBW in person about coming.

PS: those of you in Europe should also check out Ringcon in November: www.ringcon.de
