Very little philosophy in Reloaded??? hehe it is very very deep exploring concepts of free will/choice and so many other issues and introduces concepts of how we can trust things implicitly (such as "The Oracle and Prophecy" and even us as audience believing everything said in first movie which may be a lie..) However as good as I think Reloaded is, it does not beat The Matrix as a flawless, perfect film. There is NOTHING wrong with th Matrix in every aspect while there are flaws inherent in Reloaded...

I can't choose. Both rocked, of course. But both also amazed me and challenged me to think. The effects in Reloaded were, of course, better and bigger, but when I saw bullet time for the first time, I was blown away. The surprises in the storyline were ultra refreshing, especially in 1999, and I loved the "look" of the film. Both compelled me to return to the theater several times. So I just can't choose between them.

While I enjoyed Reloaded, I have to say, that for the total package and its impact, the Matrix wins with me. I liken it to bicycle riding. You may go new places and see great and exciting things, but you never forget that first wonderful ride! Know what I mean? :naughty:

Indeed I do bkitty...but this is not my reason for preferring Matrix over Reloaded... I did take into account it could never be as original as first one... in the action, ironically, it was some of action bits which were way too CGI-ish that failed for me ![]()

i have to say, although my loyalty to Reloaded is unbreakable, the Matrix made u think and question things, reloaded is more actiony and romantic..........not that thats a bad thing to course, me being a T & N shipper and all ![]()
