| Where to begin. This episode was one of the few I've enjoyed since the sweeps, despite Dylan's new girlfriend. What I Liked: Tyr! Ever since I found out Keith is leaving the show I've been really focusing on his scenes. I loved him in this episode. When he punched Gaiton and then said something like 'just asserting my independence.' Priceless. The interaction between Tyr and Gaiton was really good. At first I thought Gaiton was just going to be a two dimensional character, you know, the strong uber Nietzschean, but I turned out liking him. Harper and Trance, together again! While I still haven't gotten used to golden girl, I loved the scenes with these two in them. For once that gave Harper more than two lines. Plus they showed Trance as the leader. I still don't see how she got command though? Wouldn't Science officer be below Engineer in the duty ranking? I think my favorite scene in this whole episode was when Tyr shot Gaiton though. What I Didn't Like: Dylan and Tori. First he says to the crew, don't tell anyone your true identity or you may not be coming home. Then at the first sign of trouble he spills. There were plenty of excuses he could have used for his communications device, but instead he tells the pretty girl everything. Beka was completely out of character here! With every other guy she's been with, Bobbie, Leydon, Able, etc, she's stayed in control, played the tough chick. Now the moment she meets Dr. Semel she goes all girly? I just don't see it. Besides, what happened to Able? I thought she was in love with him?! I did like the plot to this episode, Dylan and the crew meeting up with a planet that has no idea what's waiting for them. I hope we get to see them run into another planet like this in the future. Or perhaps return. |

| I thoroughly enjoyed this ep and while I agree both Dylan and Beka seemed a little out of character I put it down to being in a playful mood I guess letting their hair down ...lol Oh well Im not that terribly fussed about the intracies anyway I watch an ep and I just like it or I dont... and this one I liked. | This was an awesome episode, I totally love it. Specially have to agree with Tyr in all the episode, he was great. Also enjoy Dylan and Beka in their first encounter with a planet and their first encounter with the people, I specially love it was very similar with what we have see in fiction could be an alien encounter with Earth for the first time. It was a very good episode and fun to watch. Krystal ![]() |
