Q: What should fans do now that they’ll have an extra hour free in their schedule?

JOSS: What should they do with that hour? Write fan fic.

Unfortunately - we're already doin' that -- illegal / legal / brushing the edge of copyright laws --

however - if he said do it - does that negate or 'bend' the copyright laws and we can publish (on the web) fanfic w/o repercussion? (not that anyone's ever made a big deal about it before) ---

Well, he does like to give smart-a** answers in interviews.

I'm thinking that he's a pretty smart guy. If you don't have a show on the air, what better way to keep interest up than to have stories appear about the characters?

You have to keep the franchise alive somehow

Like I said - ppl are doin' it anyway -- have been since the show started - there might even be *shuddergasp* movie fic out there for the orig movie --

*shrug* why the heck not?

Or - is he lookin' for ideas? :evil: -- yeah, like JW would ever need to look to the fans for ideas for his shows ---
