| Re: Kaylee Frye Hadn't thought of it like that but you're spot on. She knows who she is as a person in exactly the same way Jayne does, though perhaps in a slightly less course way. Though not much: one of my favourite lines of "Serenity" is the Kaylee/Mal/Jayne scene at the top of the stairs as they enter the twins' club and involves batteries. She doesn't NEED to be in a relationship/married etc., she is fully skilled (better than most men in fact) as an almost inherent ability and is relied on fully by her crew as a person to be competent to do that. Yet also loves the flouncy dresses for herself. What else is there to be a complete person? |
