Question Veela

Are all Veela female or can males be part veela too? It's probably in the 4th book but I don't recall.

Lightbulb Hrmm

Dunno...veela struck me as the sort of a nymph/dryad sort of race...mostly women - classed races (be they half or full)....though of course men can be just as enchanting and beautiful etc..

Then again..how do you get -pure- veela? We know there is such a thing as a -half- veela but what about the -pure- ones? Are they immortal? (did the book mention that at all?) I mean they have to be created somehow (New and younger ones that is)...

It's one of those things that can keep you awake at night pondering...

..I am awake at night anyways so no worries there

I think the veela are in that book about magical creatures, therefore I guess a veela is a creature instead of a human.
Fleur Delacour is part veela so perhaps one of her parents or grandparents is veela.
Maybe it's something that only females can inheriate genetically.

Once you go Potter..nothing is ever the same ..

You can't turn back, you don't look at anything the same ever again.
