| Re: Most Scariest/Treatening Creature Voldemort is supposed to be the scariest (and I would consider him more "creature" than "human" at this point), yet the death he gives is sudden and painless. It's the crucatious curse you have to watch out for. I wouldn't want to run into dementors, bogarts, or giant spiders, but what about Fluffy, the three headed dog? I wouldn't want to end up as his chew toy. |

| Re: Most Scariest/Treatening Creature Boggart !!! trust him to come up with that one, to me it's a tossup between the acromantula (have you ever studied spiders in detail ?) and Molly Weasley in a bad mood, I think Mrs Wealey edges it by a nose, as the spider can only eat you.![]() |

| Re: Most Scariest/Treatening Creature you know i said that the boggart had to be the scariest but if one were to apear before me it would probalbly take the form of the Basilisk. i mean i giant venomous serpent with the power of petrification sure sounds more frighting then a demantor if you ask me |

| Re: Most Scariest/Treatening Creature Check them out here HPL: Bestiary The "most scariest" creature in potter? hmm, Dementors get the highest danger rating. Would anyone want to see the Grim? Given my arachnaphobia, I'll go with the Acromantula. |

| Re: Most Scariest/Treatening Creature from the actual books... hmmm i'm not particularly scared of spiders...so a giant one wouldn't be much more scary than coming face to face with a tiger or a polar bear. Snakes don't frighten me either, so the basilisk would be frightening sure, but not as much as other things... granted being Australian it takes an especially deadly snake or spider to alarm me since we have by far the most venomous of both... I think i'm on hagrid's side in regard to most of the monstrous creatures, theres a beauty and an admiration possible for all of the monstrous beasts. Personally i'd have to go with something that was vaguely human shaped... people are much more scary than monsters... Dementors, Boggarts by default, and Voldemort too would be by far the scariest, at least to me... |

| Re: Most Scariest/Treatening Creature Quote:
Maybe I had a bout of wrackspurts - invisible things that float in through the victims ears and makes his or her brain go fuzzy. I love how Rowling incorporates magical creatures into real life - I mean, a giant leopard that spreads disease in Africa is actually believable in its own way. If anything, that makes it scarier. | |

| Re: Most Scariest/Treatening Creature i'd say acromantulas are more scary than dementors - you can fight against a dementor but acromantulas are not only fast and big, but they have thick skin that you can't spell....like dragon really, only uglier...having said that...you could become a dementor if you hang around with them for long enough, acromantulas can only kill you |
