Need Faction/Alliance Training

Seems I need to belong to a Faction/Alliance in order to create my =SDF= Faction. So here's your chance to extoll the virtues of yours. Looking for an Alliance (since I'm not moving from Simarka) in which I can best learn the workings so that when I get to create =SDF= I will be familiar with the inside of Faction HQ.

This is also to let those waiting for my creation know why there is all of a sudden letters in front of my name.

what does SDF stand for

SDF stands for Simarkan Defense Force a World Specific Faction. Basically, the premise is that Naquadria was found on Simarka and a subsystem lord was using Simarkans secretly as slave labor to mine it. This Gou'ald was keeping this find a secret from Anubis to build his own powerbase. Stargate Command found out about it and United the tribes of Simarka and together defeated and killed the Sub Lord keeping this a secret. Because of the Naquadria find and possible further threat from the Gou'ald an offworld base was established called the Simarkan Defense Force made up of volunteers from all the teams and the united tribes with SG5 taking the lead. The site was called Site 5 and set up so that its not visible from orbit. A separate command structure was set up to be independent from the SGC manning. AS this faction isn't yet up and running anything can happen from here.

BTW I joined the ARA. Gypsy was kind enough to take me in and give me temporay ADmin Status until I can create the faction. This way I can see all the parts of an Alliance/Faction so I am in training. Thats why it say 'infactiontng' after my name on site.
