BOBW 17 photos online

I finally got the time to finish writing captions...sigh.

Ok, the photos are on my usual site:

www.castlesoftware.com.au/peter

Enjoy! We all had a lot of fun as usual. The guests did a number of things during their talks which were firsts, from Anthony bringing along the lead guitarist from his band and playing, to Jonathan and Lani showing us how they really dub Rygel and Pilot's voices using an actual tape from the dubbing sessions (which still had the puppeteers voices on it from the set).

I hope everyone has BOBW 18 on their calendar (Easter weekend in Canberra!). Seeing Gil Gerard and Erin grey and the rest is going to be fantastic!!

seeya...Pete

The obvious answer to that is to come to one of the conventions sometime

Had you met Colin Cunningham before? I lose track of who goes to which conventions, especially Gatecon, which remains beyond my saving capacity as yet...sigh

There are two more BOBW Stargate conventions slated for this year: July and November. Contracts are still being signed, so the guest list for each is being finalised, aside from a couple already announced by Adele. This doesn't count Tony Amendola coming in April's blockbuster convention in Canberra on the Easter weekend.

i dont think its a matter of which guests are 'confirmed' because bobw has no credability with "confirmed guests"
its more like who cancels.

marty you should go to an FSF convention, their work is so awesome! i think shelbs and shaz would agree with that!

FSF hasn't been able to avoid the issue with guests either (and they have had to cancel events themselves because of lack of bookings). They will be using the same basic appearance contract as BOBW as these are pretty standard across the industry (and an agent would not sign anything else).

IAC, I did not start this thread to become a flame session (and the exchange between Martouf and myself did not warrant your reply). I simply wanted to let people know that the photos were available. My website statistics indicate a lot of people are intersted in them, so I'm letting everyone know they are online.

In case you hadnt noticed this is a Discussion Site...therefore we all have the right to discuss what issues that we want to.....where would be the fun if we couldn't all have our own bit

I do like the pictures of Colin Cunningham though. You're a very talented photographer pfalcon.

Thank you.

I started the site because I had not seen many good photo sites that showed people what conventions were all about.

I got the digital camera in late 2001, and since then I've only been to BOBW and Multiverse events (I'm in Melbourne, so my choices are limited, as is the travel budget).

I'd love to go to one of the international ones, but unless I win Lotto my chances are pretty slim darnit...
