It is still top according to this recent poll by Boomerang:

Tom and Jerry top favourite cartoon poll

Tom and Jerry have been voted the favourite cartoon characters of adults in the UK.

The long-running cat-and-mouse caper came tops in a poll to discover which animated shows grown-ups most enjoyed as children.

Scooby-Doo came second in the poll for the TV cartoon channel Boomerang, followed by Dangermouse, the only UK production to be named.

Dangermouse, featuring the eyepatch-wearing secret agent and his hamster sidekick Penfold, started out as a loose parody of James Bond and was the first British cartoon to break into the US TV market. Production stopped in 1992.

Top Cat, leader of a gang of Manhattan alley cats, came fourth, followed by The Flintstones in fifth place.

Bugs Bunny came sixth and Popeye seventh, says The Guardian.
Hard to put them in order, but I used to watch similar things to what Ray Gower said. Tom and Jerry, Wacky Races, Flintstones, Jetsons, Marine Boy, Scooby Doo, Top Cat.

Re: Your top 5 kids cartoons.

Ooh, blimey, let's see...

1. Ninja Turtles. Well, hero turtles, as they were known back in the day!
2. Top Cat
3. Thundercats
4. Bugs Bunny (man, you just don't see enough of him, or the old loony tunes cartoons anymore!)
5. I used to like the weird cartoons you'd get on channel four in the holidays...things like Johnny Bravo, Earthworm Jim, Rocko's Modern Life etc.

Now, more recently, I really like Spongebob Squarepants. Squidward Tentacles is brilliant

I used to watch Pokemon and Digimon as well, they were quite cool.

Ah, and the Simpsons and Family Guy...

Heck, I love all cartoons! I don't think I'll ever tire of them
