James Leary plays Clem on Buffy, the saggy skinned demon who's grown on me, not litterally. I just had the pleasure of meeting him at the Creation con last weekend and he's a wonderfully funny guy. Very honest and warm, silly and cute too, who would've guessed. He did his panel with Andy Hallett, Lorne from Angel, they got along so well you'd have thought they were best friends. Guess all the people on Joss's shows really are one big family. They were hysterical together, had perfect timing working off each other so well, you'd have thought it was rehearsed. He had us all in stitches and I got lots of wonderful pictures of them laughing together, especially Andy, James had him practically crying a few times. All in all a great guy. If you're into writing to the studios, maybe add that they need to keep him around, maybe a guest spot on Angel could work out. I think he has lots of potential and will go far in the biz.

What does everyone else think? Anyone else met him? Ideas, thoughts? Let me know. Thanks, Kim

Clem was a fun character to have around for a while, I'm not sure if I'd want to see him every week though! But if the scripting is good, I'm sure he could provide some comic relief for hte show, esp where Spike is concerned..

Yeah - Clem is fun - but I'd rather see him show up as one of those 'on-again / off-again' characters - guest spots here and there - the BtVS cast already has too many people in it - and too many who don't have storylines as it is - adding more - not good - but for him to show up and just be there for some fun or a party or at the bar, or whatever - that's totally cool!

I totally think he's a great recurring character but not a regular. Too bad Buffy's ending this season. Maybe he could show up on Angel and have some fun there. Well, hope to see the actor show up somewhere again anyway. Party on!! SS/Kim
