This is the code that Carter entered to the GDO.

In past four years they have changed it atleast two times.

so it is not so impossible that they have made it longer also.

i know you have been talking about the code used to open the Iris but aside from possibly changing it occasionaly. dont forget that every team has a unique code. this is known as before people in the control room have been able to tell what team is trying to get through the stargate. also it acts as sercurity if SG12 is on (example i dont know if they exist) P3X 912 and the code come in from a gate dialled in from P3X 657 know what i mean?

but that seems not to be problem because in episode
2010 they opened the iris, when the SG-1 was in the base.

also when sombody dials in they dont know whre its from.

so if I understand you correctly all of this that you said does
not seem to be correct.

O.K. nothing much new there then. but i do think I am right about the different teams having different codes. Also several offworld 'allies' of the SGC have there own codes. this is known as it is occasionaly announced that one of their allies is coming through e.g. the tokra and they werent expecting them. know where i am coming from. also they often identify the teams coming in.

Yes - but perhaps you didn't pick up on one of my messages earlier - there are TWO codes involved - the one that the original poster wants us to find, which is what they type into the GDO, and the other, which you are talking about, which the GDO sends through the wormhole to the SGC and we see sometimes on the Dialling Computer screen, which is unique for each team (or the Tok'ra)...
