3.5: The Inside Man

info from tvtome.com

Jim saves Edward, the grandson of Mafia don Dominick Lazar, from drowning. When Don Dominick himself thanks Jim, he decides to get on the inside of the city's organized crime world.

Okay- first - that descrip is wrong - Jim doesn't save the kid from drowning - he saves the kid from getting smashed by some large bunch of something that nearly falls on his head.

Of note -- 2 actresses from the Whedon-verse appear in this episode --

Robia LaMorte (Jenny Calendar from BtVS) is the Lazar daughter; and Stephanie Romanov (Lilah Morgan from AtS) is the widow.

I liked this episode, though, sometimes, Jim getting involved with the 'woman of the show' is kind of predictable and annoying - but, not so much a negative point in this ep

This one is just nicely done --
