Hey, don't be too hasty to write the whole thing off, xst. Nothing official has been announced. So far as I'm aware, Michael has every intention of being there.

If he'd changed his mind/something had come up, I think we'd know about it already. It's in nobody's interest to keep the punters in the dark.

Further update, courtesy of Annie Wortham at Dragoncon - Chris Judge is looking forward to the French Convention and confirmed that Michael Shanks will be going too.

So as regards his intentions, you can't get much closer to the source than that, I think.

Yep. Chris and Michael are very good friends and from the sounds of Annie's report, he's looking forward to spend the time and making the trip to partis with Michael.
