im leaning on the idea that the important child is the one and not neo.

this would give way for trinity being the mother of the matrix and neo as the new architect.

but as for the future of it all, i believe that neo will likely gain control of the source and as zion grows, so will the number of freed minds until all have become free, the A.I. machines will be eliminated and a new matrix will be constructed for the sole purpose of a pleasant place for the zionites. the maintainers of the code will be wanting the code to maintain itself and ai will once again take control of the code. it then follows that ai will want its own fun, and harness a human or thousand to power a plave where ai have better survival. it will snowball and the war will start agin, this time in a different manner.

but here i am jumping to conclusions.
