I am quaking to think what the rest of the T/B machines are going to look like!:eek7::disgust:

But why has it got an Aston Martin badge on the front?

There is mention there that this is a conception of what the car is to look like, and might not be exactly like the final product.
The hood ornament is one of the similarities to the ford model. I didn't realise Daimler's had one like that too, but then, not being much of a car afficionado, I am not sure I have ever actually seen a Daimler.

The first official photo from the Universal/Working Title live-action feature film of Thunderbirds unveils the new design for Lady Penelope's FAB 1, reportedly based loosely on a Ford Thunderbird rather than the original car's Rolls Royce design. The picture shows a full-size working prop of the car that has been built specially for the film, together with Sophia Myles as Lady Penelope and Ron Cook as Parker, on location in the Buckinghamshire countryside near the film's production base at Pinewood Studios.
