Hey everyone, I have been searching for a good Buffy forum, it looks like I FINALLY found one!

All the forum topics I was looking for, and seem to be a good amount of people in here. So I welcome myself, my name is Brent.

I've only gotten into Buffy recently, in the past I didn't ever think I would like the show so I never gave it a second thought. Until I actually watched an episode and liked it! So I went to download all the buffy eps i could find on kazaa to catch up with Season 7. But there are still a lot i have not seen.

So I just purchased the complete DVD boxed sets of Season 1, 2 and 3 from Amazon.com

I just got them in yesterday and cannot wait to see every episode in High Quality all the way through for Seasons 1, 2 and 3. w00t!

I also bought the original 1992 movie, I know its not related to the series directly, but I had never seen it so to add to my collection I thought I'd purchase it anyways. I watched it last night, it was a little corny at times, and the vamps were well, not very scary, but overall it gave me an early impression of the Buffy saga.

I will watch about 2 episodes a day on the DVD's working my way through them in order, so I'm very excited about that.

I love the show now and am a huge fan, I'm also a huge fan of Stargate SG1 and Star Trek and thats pretty much what I watch, those three series now.

Anyways, just thought i'd make my introduction and look forward to posting lots here and reading posts here

I almost envy you, getting to watch the episodes from the start for the first time. (My personal favorites are the finale of Season Two.)

I don't like the movie actually. It's a pale imitation of the Buffy that I know and love, but some find it funny and light entertainment.

Don't hesitate to fill us in on your thoughts about the various episodes as you view them. That's what ASciFi.com is here for.
