From The Official Site:

Gaheris Rhade sets out to reshape the universe according to his will and restore order amid the chaos.

I can't believe I was right! When I saw Rhade and Dylan's stand off in UtNI thought to myself, 'He let you win, Dylan. If he wanted to he could have killed you where you stood.'

I don't know where to start on this episode. There were so many things I liked, mainly because Rhade is my favorite character on Andromeda.

Likes:

It was great to see Rhade as the good guy for once. He's usually portrayed as the bad @$$ Nieztschean who doesn't care about anything or anyone. Finally we see the other side of Steve Bacic's character. He regrets having killed Dylan (Yes, he didn't win) and he takes Beka and her crew on to help him restore the Commonwealth. Unfortunately, he doesn't succeed like Dylan did and winds up on his own for the most part.

I liked the relationship between Rhade and Beka, they seem like they would be a good match. It hurt though when she said it just wouldn't work between them. I felt sorry for him in that scene.

The scene where Gaheris goes back in time and shoots himself was awesome, it proved that he was willing to risk everything to restore the Commonwealth.

This episode made Rahde's last words mean even more, 'I'm proud of you. You should be.'

Dislikes:

Most of the scenarios that were from previous episodes, this time with Rahde in command, were only short snippets. I would have liked to have seen more. That's really my only big problem with this episode.

The Tyr/Gaheris interaction was shaky. The writers didn't give you enough exchange between them to make you understand why it came down to having to kill Tyr.

Why the heck did they do the whole Dylan-As-An-Android bit? That I didn't understand. Is Rahde really that incompetent.

Why won't Dylan ever get off his high horse and admit that he wouldn't have made it if Rahde hadn't let him live. To me he's kind of arrogant, he knew how good Gaheris was, surely he doesn't believe he stood a chance.

All in all I really liked this episode. Much more now than I did as I was watching it. It took a while for it all to sink in. Steve Bacic gave another great performance, and he really brought his character to life. He made Rahde more than one dimensional. If only the next episode would be this good.

i wonder if this was a psudo clip show. it sure beats the pants of those previous.

The alter time angle was a little to Star Trek. Yet i enjoyrd this more than any of their. The reason probadly being it took place using characters and event known to nearly any real Andromeda fan. With some blanks in the middle.
It also happen over a period of elased time with all characters ingorant of the real events.

I have to agree in this two points. This episode was awesome, I totally love it. It was good to see things from Rhade's perspective. How he would do things, and seeing as Stripe says other side of the character. Also have to love the relationship between him and Beka. It was a great episode. I totally love it.

I agree, the changing time lines were confusing sometimes. But once you figured out what episode the scene was from it was easy to piece together.
