It never hurts to practice voting. So I did.

Even though I've already read it, I had to vote for Storm Front. I'd like the chance to read it again.

I voted for stormfront because I didn't read it and I need a good book and since I read Zelazny for the 10,000 time already.

I love Stormfront and it would be great to see a discussion on a Jum Butcher book

Nothing on the list appeals to me, I was rather hoping to vote for the vine swinging tard again.

I voted for Peter David's Sir Apropos of Nothing. I was surprised to see it as one of the choices.

We've only had 7 votes so far so I'll keep this thread open until tomorrow and then we'll know which book we should be reading.

Re: Take Your Pick for August

I had to vote for Shelly's "Frankenstein." I will look into the others later. She is so under rated an author. To think, in perhaps a thousand years, she as a female author created the first original myth in that time period. Everything else is the duplication and twist on what had already been written about.

Re: Take Your Pick for August

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for "Storm Front", as I just checked it out of the library earlier this evening.

Re: Take Your Pick for August

Storm Front is our winner this month! It isn't a long or complicated book so it should be quick and easy reading - and that is a good thing as we're a little late this month.

Happy Reading!

Re: Take Your Pick for August

Well, I've finished reading "Storm Front". Since there are probably others still reading, I'll defer comment for the moment except to say that it is a really, really cool book.
