That's a pretty big range, dont you feel like you're not a true metaller if you're into pop-punk aswell?

Someone once told me
"The more of a range of music you like, the more you like music itself."
If I like pop punk that does not affect my attitude towards metal.

That's a fair enough view. I only listen to metal and gothic, i just don't seem to enjoy anything else.

Also another person said to me
"You do not choose the things you like, they choose you"

Which leads into a very interesting topic of 'Fate vs Control'...

I am quite a paranoid person myself and do not wish to belive in fate. I prefer to be in control of my own actions.

And if you can swing this discussion to include BtVS, the thread can stay here, otherwise, it might get shifted to General Discussions....

I believe everyone has a destiny but it is usually very hard to find, whether or not you fufil it is up to you.

Hi, Dracolithe, welcome to ASciFi.com. I hope you enjoy your time here. My name is OB-Wan and I moderate the Buffy forums. I would have spoken sooner but this is a very busy time of the year for me and I didn't have time to prepare a proper response yesterday.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. It seems you are off to a fast start. I hope you will take some time to visit some of the other threads and record your thoughts.

You seem to have really drawn Vampyre out, that's the most I have seen him say in months. Perhaps some new blood is just what Buffy needs.

I didn't want to move this thread before letting you know. I didn't want you to think it had suddenly disappeared. Tomorrow night I will move this thread over to Buffy Newbie Forum. That forum is set aside for new members to announce their presence and make initial contact with other members.

Welcome again and Merry Christmas, by the way.

[Vampyre: I believe everyone has a destiny but it is usually very hard to find, whether or not you fufil it is up to you.]

Well, is it really a destiny if it may not come to be? Wouldn't that make it just a possible destiny or one of many possible destinies, which would bring it back around to choice?

That all depends on your theory of what a destiny really is...
