Soul Bossa Nova? Sweet.

At the mo I can't stop listening to this band called Heyseed Dixie, who do bluegrass cover versions of AC/DC songs, with some KISS ones thrown in as well. God, they're funny...

I went to the We Will Rock You musical in the hols, and as a result I've been listening to heaps of Queen. I managed to find someone who had the soundtrack of the production, it's really great...they put a lot of work into the whole thing.

I saw Queen at the Hordern Pavlova (in Sydney) in 1975 or 76 when they had just released the album, A Night at the Opera (with ACDC as the support band - Bon Scott and the other guitarist - not Angus Young - got into a major punch-up on stage so there were lots of police pulling them apart). It was my first concert. It was wonderful. I was a BIG Queen fan back then. I loved all their earlier stuff (and still do) and A Night at the Opera was the last album I bought. Now 25 years later, both of my children love Queen as well.

ahh, nostalgia............

Everyone will laugh at me but,
I am curently hooked on listening/watching/voting for Australian Idol contestants! Go Paulini!

and ummm........song of the moment is Beyonce/feat Sean Paul 'Baby boys' and Sting 'Fields of Gold' (cause Paulini sang that on Tuesday) AND
Coldplay...top band. Anything they sing is great as far as I am concerned at the moment.

Don't worry Shaz....I'm not laughing... I'm also a fan of the show.
I love Paulini, Cosima and Shannon (for obvious reasons )

At the moment I'm listening to Goo Goo Dolls - Iris
