How do you want Buffy to end (sniff)? - Science Fiction Fantasy Chronicles: forums

I think there has been discussion on this before, but no-one's ever posted a poll (I think) - none of us want BTVS to ever end, but assuming it has to sometime, how do you want Buffy to exit? I haven't seen any of S7 yet, so some of this could be irrelevant.

I had to vote for 'get bitten and staked by Dawn' -

and mine will probably be the only vote for that -

not that that's how I want the show to end - it was just amusing

and Dawn never gets any good storylines - the writers seem to miss the point that if they want the audience to like a character, they have to MAKE us like the character - and not by just telling us to like the character, but by showing us that there's a reason to like him/her - and they kinda forgot that part when they were writing Dawn --

So - I'm still voting for Buffy gets bitten and staked by Dawn -

None of the above. What I want to happen is Spike loses his soul and rediscovers the wonders of killing. Then he finds Buffy and chains her and tortures her for a few hours before he drives a spike though he head. *sighs* Oh what I nice thought....

Teentelevision.com is reporting that Sarah is being offered three-quarters of a million dollars for each episode after the current season, perhaps on a guest star basis.

(Oh no, not another absentee star, ala Muldar.)

yeah - I read that somewhere too -

they're doing something along those lines w/ Stagate too - RDA's not really gonna be in all the episodes, or something like that, for the new season ---

Honestly - I really think that S7 should be the end - and then, if they wanna do a spin-off and use some of the characters from BtVS - that would work --

I'm still voting for Buffy gets vamped then staked by Dawn - hehehe ------

Yeah, I think another spin-off, maybe based on Anya or Spike (but has to be evil soulless Spike) would be better than continuing the show without Sarah. Buffy isn't my favourite character, but I think without her the show will lose its focus and just wilt away into crapness, and it's better seeing a show go out on top than watch it lose its edge.

I voted for Sunnydale getting swallowed into a hell dimension btw, lets face it Buffy etc have survived way too many apocalyses - just buggers the possibility ratios, dunnit.

well you missed the option where she jumps on the back on my motorbike....

I'd like to see how the Spike thing plays out this season before I commit to her riding off with him. Going back to Angel is a bit blah after all thats gone on, and Faith isn't really a good option (i'm kinda hoping they get Eliza back to kill her off and give us a new slayer to play with)

Dawn, erm can't picture it, although there is potential story-line to cover it, but she needs to grow up a bunch first... And all going to hell is a bit of a nasty ending, I mean they can always figure out a way to prevent it cant they....

So I'll have to go with the last option, cant bear to think about it....

Even as it gets later and later, everyone on the show keeps saying its early yet.

But sources say that there have been some discussion with Eliza about the possibility of a Faith spin-off.

Yeah I'd love to see that!!

The way I see it anyway, they can't have a happy ending. It's gotta be a disaster, a cliff-hanger or a real bittersweet ending, like Buffy deciding to walk away from it all.

But a Faith spin-off - that would be gr8!:rolly2: I'd also love to see a spin-off based on Anya doing her vengeance stuff (only for good obviously!)
