I think you are talking about "Allegiance." The name or perhaps the job duty of the person you are talking about (?) - he is an Ashrak (not sure if I have the spelling right). He is not invisible; he has to use the armband. He is an assassin of the highest order who carries out the orders of the System Lords. The Ashrak also showed up in either Season 2 or 3 in the epy where Sam receives the Tok'ra Jolinar by accident. The Ashrak is seeking Jolinar to kill her. I don't know what the armband is or what it is called (but if it's like the armbands in "Upgrades," the Ashrak was destined to be a complete as* and eventually lose the power of the armband!).

As you probably know, the replicators "replicate" whatever substance they are eating, basically. They haven't changed much yet. You probably want to look at the spoilers for Season 6, 6.12, "Unnatural Selection." It looks as if the replicators are going to take human form. Since this epy should be shown in January 2003 (in the US), you won't have long to wait until the changes in the replicators come to light.

You are now caught up with us. For the last two months Sci Fi has been showing a four hour "Monday Stargate" with four epys; they began with season 1, and are now into season 2. On Monday at midnight, and Tues. thru Thurs. at midnight, the four epys show one at a time in a one hour segment each night. Sometimes during the regular Friday time slot they show one or two epys. We begin seeing new epys here in the US in January.

It seems to be quite common that whilst the US starts broadcasting the series a number of weeks ahead of the UK, the tortoise/hare scenario kicks in: they stop for a month or two of repeats, whilst Sky just keeps on plodding on showing them. next thing you know its around Christmas time and the UK is actually ahead of the US. This hapened in S5 as well - maybe on other shows too.

*cough* Possible spoilers here . . . . . . . . An ashrak can't use an armband because the armbands work by infecting the wearer with a virus. Goa'ulds are immune to such things. The ashrak did however use a mini hand device that he could use to torture ppl with, persuade them to do things and search for goa'ulds inside the head of others. There have been 2 invisible goa'ulds. Nurti and Hathor. Not sure which you're refering to though.

RaTY, [OBVIOUS_MODE=ON] From what I read of the above, I think that this is all coming out of a barely shown episode from the middle of series 6 - where we get a new device being used by an ashrak, with similarities to but not the same as the armband in "Upgrades". I haven't seen any of S6, so I'm only going on the above, non-spoilered stuff {hint, hint} [OBVIOUS_MODE=OFF]

hahaha Oh my. I'd forgoten about that episode (It was an easily forgetable one mind you) It was infact 6.09 My mistake ![]() The ashrak wasnt wearing an armband. It was wearing a personal cloaking device as worn by Nirrti in Fair Game and Hathor in Out of Mind. The abilities of the ashrak were its own in combination with the advantage of invisibility. No armband needed :P
