I don't have a live journal account. I keep mine in a notebook. And I really don't think I'd want anybody reading it. It's pretty personal. I write down thoughts about what's happening in my life, or what's going on in my mind. Sometimes I put lyrics or poems in there that are thought provoking or describe me.

I keep an online journal too. I just started it. Every now and then I'll try to keep a regular journal but I get frustrated with it and/or I'm too lazy to keep up with it. I do write down poems and ideas in a little journal so I don't forget them. keltikkitty:aliengray

I used to be like that. I tried to start one quite a few times and failed each time. Now I feel the need to write, so it really isn't much of a problem. I don't write everyday ususally, just when I feel the urge to.

Mine is at www.emilymhanson.com -- it's actually at Blogger, but I own the domain for my name, so I just use it for that. I also keep a regular old-fashioned journal. Sometimes, just the act of writing on paper can be soothing. And it's really good stress relief. ![]() P.S. I didn't know anyone else here was a Monkey Island fan. I played the original games when they came out like in the 80's. The newer ones are ok, but I couldn't get past the monkey dances in the last one. I loved the insult swordfighting in the older games -- some of the insults were really hilarious. :rolly2:
