1.10: War Stories

Must say this isn't one of my favorites but not the worst either.

It seemed to me that this one was just showing the degree of madness that some of their adversaries have (and some of the crew) :lol: I’m really not much for watching the grizzly details of torture.

It had some very funny parts that saved it, and it was nice to see Wash get some time in. Also showed that there is friction among the crew (meaning they are human).

That’s about all I can say about this one, some of it impressed me but not much.

I thought for a long while that he might be a spy, but his devotion to his religion certainly seems genuine - some scenes with River and a bible from a previous episode would suggest that to me.

But I can't quite square the scene in 'Serenity' when Book is overcome with shame about letting Mal kill the Fed after he had sworn to defend him, with the scenes in this episode as he turns in 'Rambo'.

Also Kaylee doesn't tell anyone about River. I didn't realise that before. I'm not sure if it is because she is so shocked, or because she thinks they will be more shocked.
