I also meant to comment on Crusade, which I did not view as negatively as many of you. I actually thought the episodes were beginning to improve toward the end of the run. I later learned that the network had broadcast the majority of the episodes OUT OF SEQUENCE and so the continuity of the series was shot from the word go. No wonder I couldn't make any sense of most of it. I still wish it had continued since it seemed to carry a modicum of promise. I actually wrote a letter to the Sci Fi network hoping they might pick it up and develop the series. And that's something I rarely do unless I truly believe in a show's potential. (I would never be writing to defend any Star Trek series.) |
