Now I don't want to get off on a rant here but...

The release date for the Season 3 Region 1 Box Set is January 7, 2003! No details on extras yet.

Your thread title says S1 R3 -- did you mean S3 R1?

Yeah, Highlander II, I got a little confused with that. The title should be Season 3 Region 1. If one of you mods could change that I would appreciate it.

And the date is firm. I now work for a music / movie retailer and am privy to this sort of information. Still don't know about the extras yet but it's only a month away so we'll see soon enough.

and I'm totally psyched about S3 -- mostly b/c I don't like the syndicated version --

I've actually been watching S3 lately -- just b/c I haven't in a while -- might hit S4 when I'm done - dunno ---

Got my review of the Season 3 DVDs up on my site. Check it out at www.geocities.com/almostahermit and follow the links. A pretty cool set even without a commentary by Joss. Let me know what you guys think.

got mine the other day - I've only watched "Lover's Walk" - it's like a law - gotta watch that ep before I watch any others!

anyway -- this season is kind of lacking in 'features' and special stuff --- but, I just wanted the episodes really ---

Though, something they mentioned in the 'season 3 overview' - I don't think they ever really picked up again - the 'relationship' (not lovey-dovey/sexual) btwn Spike and Joyce - They had a little talk in "Lover's Walk" - then, there really isn't much they pick up w/ later -- there's a little in S5 when Buffy takes her mom and sis to Spike's crypt - and Spike and Joyce talk about "Passions" and a little smidge in "Crush" - but I can't recall anything else - (however, that's a topic for another section) --

but - overall - not really a bad set --- though, they probably could have gotten everything on 5 discs -- doesn't much matter - they got all the eps in there - and that's the important thing -
