I need your help, clan!

Hi Clan MacSlow,

this is a severly distraught Hmpf MacSlow asking for your help. You all know I consider Farscape one of the best shows ever to grace the screen; in fact, my emotional life for the past year or so has revolved largely around it, and it has just. now. been. cancelled. Well, in fact, it was cancelled some 72 hours ago, but I just found out today because I was on holiday.

So, what does Farscape fandom do now? The usual stuff, of course, the only thing we who do not have the money to actually *buy* the show can do: petition the scifi channel. More precisely, we're writing letters. Lots of them, because the more letters, the more of a chance that something may still be done about the cancellation. And to increase the amount of letters, I need the help of every fannish soul willing to help.

So, if out of friendship, fannish sympathy, or genuine love for the show, you feel you would like to contribute to our efforts, please write letters to:

The SciFi Channel
1230 Avenue of the Americas, F115
New York, NY 10020-1513
USA

Send faxes to:

001 212 413 6531 (SciF)
001 212 413 6522 (SciFi)
001 212 413 6524 (USA Networks)
001 212 314 7309 (Vivendi USA)
001 818 866 5959 (Vivendi Universal)
011 331 7171 1179 (Vivendi Frankreich)

Send e-mail to:

TVonTV@scifi.com
program@scifi.com
feedback@scifi.com
scifiweekly@scifi.com
series@usanetwork.com

Letters are best, faxes are second best, both is best if in handwriting, no insults and no swearing, you know the drill. I'm sure most of you have already done something of the sort for some other beloved show. :-(

My world is still shaking.

Hmpf

Sure thing, Hmpf! I heard this yesterday and already have my letters ready to go in the mail first thing tomorrow.

Damn Scifi Channel!!! First they cancel The Invisible Man last year, now this. If the show is gone for good, I swear I'm never watching Scifi Channel again. I'd have no reason to anyway, with both of those shows off the air.

DAMN IT!!!!!!!!

It does make me wonder what these people are thinking with. They keep cancelling their second-strongest running shows. That *can't* be good business practice...
