| Now I don't want to get off on a rant here but... I finally got my review of the Buffy Season 2 DVD set done. You can find it at my site www.geocities.com/almostahermit and just follow the Buffy links. This set isn't exactly an improvement over the S1 set as it is an expansion of what was started there. We get more eps (all 22) and lots more extras. The video quality is still the same as S1 as they were still using the smaller format film (this is corrected in S3) but you hardly notice. If Season 1 got you interested, Season 2 got ya hooked! Can't wait for Season 3 (out sometime after the new year)! What did you think? |

| Well, I love the S2 DVD's - but I still think they can do better - The annoying 'swooshy-horror-y music' into the ep can go away - b/c that takes a long time and I'm rather impatient -- BUT! There are a LOT of 'director/writer' commentary bits and I love those! I like S2 a lot anyway - intro my fave character - Spike! and when paired w/ Dru - he's even better! Those two were great! Anyway -- S2 was better than S1 - but I think they can improve some things. I don't mind so much going all the way back to the main menu to watch the next ep, or, I wouldn't if it didn't take so long to actually GET to the episode. |
