Re: Truth or Myth? Druss-In terms of age and compotence you would have to say Sean Connery but as previously mentioned he lacks the physical stature to play the role. So I would say a less know person, possibly the guy who played Amish from Braveheart if you could make him look older. Rek-Maybe Hugh Jackman or Adrian Paul Virae-Kiera Knightley though i dont know how she would look blonde Serbitar-I would tend to go more with Orlando Bloom in this roll or perhaps Ewan McGreggar Vintar-Pactrick Stewart I think is an ecclent choice for this role Gan Hogun-Liam Nissan Gan Orin-Bernard Hill Ulric-Sean Bean Bowman-Christian Bale Those would be my main people. But i still dont know about Druss he is just too cool a character to think of someone to play him.

Re: Truth or Myth? i think bowman would be better suited to christian slater or someone like that they need a serious but playful edge, bale is too dark. im gonna have a good think on this subject, i used to do this with films but not in a while, i dont think kiera would work either, but wont critisise untill i've come up with my own list ok.

Re: Truth or Myth? I like the idea of Ken Watanbe as Ulric, James Cosmo as Druss could work, and he's currently 58 so its within the realms without having to make him look older. LOL As to the others, I dont think Mel would suit Rek very well, not so sure who to play him, but Bowman you want someone with a dry sense of humour. Not quite sure who to have in that role. There are current talks happening in regard to buying the options for a couple of films but it all depends on the contracts. IE would Gemmell get to keep the intellectual rights. Just that if he doesnt he wont sign as it would mean that he would lose all control of the characters and world. If he wanted to write a new Drenai novel he would have to ask the film studio's permission and lets face it they could change the tale round so we could even end up with Legend VII (Druss returns in "The Zimmerframe Wars.")
