Ok I'll answer the q but I would dispute that it isn't about the Matrix. Thw Wachowski bros were significantly influenced byt this anime, and, in fact ****Matrix 2:Reloaded Spoiler Alert*** its plot consists, in part, of a computer that hacks into a human brain and takes control over the person. This is similar to the Matrix 2:Reloaded where Agent Smith copies himself onto Bane's avatar in the matrix and then controls Bane when he is pulled out into the real world. There are many more similarities if your intersted. ***End Spoiler Alert** And without any further adoo, the answer is: Ghost in the Shell I'm going to make this next q easy to let some other people ask. The glyphs on the computer screens, with the exception of the call traces, consists of reversed letters, numbers, and what type of characters. good luck, oz

I started a Reloaded quiz at this url: http://www.ascifi.com/forums/showthr...threadid=17922 We won't have to worry about any spoilers here for Reloaded. Let's keep this quiz confined to the original Matrix. ![]() And I'm just guessing here, but I'd say Chinese characters.

The designer Simon Whiteley sourced references from manga comics, combining Katakana script with chopped up alpha-numerics. Katakana (literally "side script") was invented by Kibi no Makibi (AD 693-755). They are Japanese symbols adapted from earlier Chinese symbols. This website explains: http://members.aol.com/Joyo96Kana/Katakana.html I am close??

When Neo meets the Oracle in her kitchen, the Oracle is baking cookies. During the scene the Oracle takes the cookies out of the oven and brings them to the table. How many cookies are on the Baking tray?

Man, Dave! Makin' me put the DVD back in, eh? You're evil. But I like it. ![]() She had six cookies on the tray. Mmmmmm. Cooookies. What visual signal inside the hotel (just after the Oracle scene) is a clue that a battle between good and evil is about to ensue? Been reading the essays... can you tell?

But this is meant to be a film continuity error. I can't see it myself, but the tray that she takes out of the oven supposedly only has four cookies. So I would have accepted the answer four as well. I don't know what visual signal you mean. Morpheus adjusts his glasses and Neo bites his cookie. Is there something else that I missed? | |

Not at the Oracle's apartment, but in the hotel afterwards. It's kind of an obvious sign... a visual clue of good and evil. (And I did notice that it 'looked' as if the tray originally had four cookies, but the only time we see it clearly she has six on it... which is why I went with that answer.) ![]()

Good guess since it occurred at the same location, but no. It's something that occurred after Neo saw the Oracle. I'll give you another day before I ask another question in it's stead. It's something totally visual. ![]()

'K, it's been a day, so the answer is any one of the following: Black and white floor tile, black cat (twice), or even the woman in the red dress (since, with her red dress and seductive pose, she's a distraction to Mouse and fairly devilish). Here's an easier one: What is the number in the subway station where Neo fights Agent Smith? (It's on the columns, and visible if you have the tape or DVD.) ![]()
