Canberrans the smartest!

Hey All,

According to the National IQ test, Canberra and the ACT came out on top with the most intelligent people in the country.

So now we are not only the most beautiful but the most intelligent in Australia as well.

Uh, you're basing all this on statistics gained from a show hosted by Eddie McGuire? And I wouldn't go on about the beautiful part either...remember, most politicians are in Canberra, and I've noticed that John Howard bears a disturbing resemblance to Mr. Sheen.:dead:

P.S. Of course, Shelby and Allan, I'm not insulting you... you're bigger than me. (*gulp*)

You have to remember that no politicians took part in the IQ test.

GOD !!! If they did, we'd be the dumbest state in Australia !!!... And the Ugliest.

But you have to remember one important thing... Almost ALL of the politicians in Canberra are from other states. So they just come here and give US a bad name. So politicians bare no relationship to our IQ level (or beauty for that matter).

Hey, don't you knock Johny, you're in the presence of a Liberal. :blah:

May I now at this time take the opportunity to remind Raptor that Victoria came last.

And don't forget that Eddie McGuire comes from Victoria so, of course, the IQ and beauty levels have gotta be lower than a snake's armpit

Methinks that the Canberrans do protest too much and do seem to be pushing the point to extremes.

Do I detect the not-so-subtle hints of an INFERIORITY COMPLEX? No, no, surely not! I jest! Slap my wrist! Roll me up in gladwrap with Rick!!

*big yawn* To all you canberrans, may I just say that the fact that your state sat on the edge of their seats answering 76 questions for 2 and whatever hours long into the night is proof of your desire to prove yourselves to the rest of the nation. The rest of the nation, do know and understand that they are more intelligent than Canberrans, and feel no need to prove or to flaunt this fact.

But, in saying that, I will mention that I did not do the test, because........I forgot. So I am a little annoyed at myself for this fact.

hehehe.

I wish i had remembered. My friends are all comparing....and my competitve streak is alive and kicking!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Did anyone here get a score they are exceptionally proud of?

Hope you have a great trip Allan....which Stargate land this time?

You do know that you can do it on the www.ninemsn.com.au website. I forgot to do it when it was on, so I did it the day after.
It's not the best test, the last part is on knowledge and social stuff and the marking is unfairly weighted for older people.
Saying that, I got a score of 131 which I'm proud of, the same as Red Symons, and I suspect we both didn't go too well in the social questions .

Have a good time Allan. Wish I was going, though who doesn't wish they were going . (assuming your going to what I think you're going to)
